RustSeal is a paint-like substance that acts as a total rust inhibitor and preventive.
RustSeal has a consistency that is approximately that of paint and it has very good spreadability.
RustSeal chemically bonds to rusted steel to form a rock-hard, non-porous coating that won't crack chip, or peel.
RustSeal works by isolating metal from moisture. Without moisture present, steel can't rust.
RustSeal is highly surface tolerant and capable of adhering to almost any prepared substrate.

I just put two coats on an iron entry gate and galvanized screen right next to the beach. I have been fighting rust for six years with no success. It went on very easy and coated very evenly. The convenience cans were great since I used one quart on the door so I didn''t have to put a lid back on. The jury is still out as to the effectiveness of the product. Usually in about eight months I will know how it works but so far I am very pleased with it.
