I just used rust blast. I had a metal screen that had a lot of rust on it so I used a wire brush and removed most of it. I then used rust blast and kept it on for twenty minutes and washed it off. I left it overnight and usually, next to the beach the screen would rust. I think this is an excellent product and will enhance the use of rust seal.

I purchased the KBS Motorcyle Tank Sealer Kit to repair a very rusty motorcycle tank. It had been collecting rust for over 10 years. Ultimately, my tank was free of rust and it is now sealed so that no more rust can happen again. It really worked!

Product works exactly as described. Within minutes a noticable change takes place, especially on the lightly rusted spots. Kept the rust away for 7 days exposed to the damp/humid Houston weather.

I may not be totally able to tell what this stuff does as far as the etching goes, but the rust "blasting" aspect is really noticeable.
