The KBS System Sampler Kit contains everything you need to clean, prep, & apply two coats of RustSeal on up to a 12.5 square foot area. Don't get short changed, our kit includes 8 ounces of our RustSeal coating...not just 4 ounces. Twice the surface coverage!
RustSeal is a paint-like substance. RustSeal acts as a total rust inhibitor and preventive.
It's consistency is approximately that of paint and it has very good spreadability . KBS RustSeal chemically bonds to rusted steel to form a rock-hard, non-porous coating that won't crack chip, or peel. It works by isolating metal from moisture. Without moisture present, steel can't rust.
This non-porous, flexible coating is incredibly tough and extremely resistant to abrasion and impact. RustSeal is highly surface tolerant and capable of adhering to almost any prepared substrate

I have used POR15 before on other projects, but had heard that KBS was better so I decided to try it. The kit was just what I needed and reasonably priced. I am attempting to restore a set of 1955 Texas License plates to go on a 55 Chevy I am working on. It is my first attempt on plates, but KBS has sure made it easier. When I am finished, I will send you a picture. Thanks for a quality product at a reasonable price.

Worked great used the cleaner and etch and left light rust like film painted the 50" Torro deck twice left a hard coating the grass just washed off. I will coat my next deck the same way!
