Hi there, and thank you for the opportunity to tell you about my experience with your product thus far.
I had a very leaky fuel tank on my 2001 Suzuki VS 1400 Intruder that I purchased just days before ordering your product. Rust had been building up on the bottom left corner as the fuel had sat in that area for awhile over in Vancouver, WA before I got the bike. The person I bought it from told me that it was leaking and he fixed the pinholes temporarily, but the first chance I got when the weather was nice enough around here where I live, I used your product with as far as I can tell, much success. The directions were clear and concise and the product seems to be doing as it was described. It is permanantly sealed!! I used JB Waterweld on the outside as I did not have any product left over for the exterior of the tank and then I repainted the affected part of the tank with Rustoleum Gloss Black over a Dark Grey primer. One note: I let the tank dry for over 150 hours just to be sure before I refilled it with gas. The Tank looks great inside and out, and I expect to be doing lots of riding this summer without any fuel leaks to send me home on the back of a tow truck as was my experience before using your product.
I have decided to use your product again on my forward controls as the chrome is chipping away. I expect to do them with the exterior black coating that I saw on your web page and in the cataloge that came with my sealant kit. I have recommended your products to a couple of the local bike shops around Yakima, Wa that don't currently offer your product in their stores. I think that they should carry a product such as yours because it seems to be a superior product over the other products that are out there that claim to do the same thing. Your product has top reviews according to other users and I agree with them. It is the best!!
Thanks again for a great DIY product. You guys saved me a bunch of dollars, and I'm riding in style once again. |
