The kit worked perfectly. I had a smashed 5 gal HD softail tank. Cut it up into 10 pieces, narrowed, sectioned & chopped it to about 3.3 gallons. Mig welded the whole thing back together and coated the inside with KBS sealer.

Took a couple of afternoons to do the whole cleaning and sealing process, then let it cure for 4 days. Result? No leaks, no worries. What more can I ask for? Great product! I'm 100% satisfied.

Hello, This past summer I purchased a KBS gas tank seal kit at the 'Back to the 50s" car show in Minnesota to repair the leaking tank in my '38 Plymouth. I subsequently purchased KBS Rustseal and epoxy putty to help with this project. I used the epoxy putty to seal holes from 1/16 inch to 1/4 inch, then sealed the inside of the tank.

After, I used my hvlp sprayer to apply the Rustseal to the outside of the tank and the straps. My tank came out better than new!! I filled the tank with gas last night, not one problem, NO leaks!!

Your KBS products have far exceeded my expectations. I would have been happy just getting the '38 back on the road. But it actually looks great, like show quality. I want to eventually do a complete restoration and will for certain use KBS products wherever I can.

I have try POR15 and I have found the quality and finished appearance of KBS to be far superior. Thanks for a great product. I would recommend KBS to anyone.

Hi, I just finished cleaning and sealing a tank off of a 1988 Honda Shadow. It was so rusty, I thought I would have to replace the tank. After searching unsuccessfully for another tank, I deceided to try you sealer kit. I had good luck with it last year on a Puch tank in frame.

It worked great. That sealing materiel is is some hard stuff. I left the supplied brush in the empty can and let it set. I still can't pull it out. Good stuff..Thanks for a great product.

Works as advertised? Works better than advertised. A flexible impervious coating that is second to none. (Well, maybe teflon) I have a 1980 BMW that I was mulling over selling, restoring or throwing it in the s@%# can. Who wants to buy a new tank? The rest of the bike is excellent but the tank was full of rust chips so bad it was unusable.

I carefully followed all directions to a "T" and it came out absolutely beautiful. If you are not blind and/or stupid, you can do this too.
