If a person can read and follow directions,then KBS tank seal will do the rest.

This kit is amazing. Was going to trow my tank in the garbage and order a new one. At lease a pound of rust came out of the tank before I started the treatment. KBS made it like new, and I have zero patience with this type of stuff.

Take your time, follow directions closely, and you will not be disappointed.

Purchased the 5 gal motorcycle kit. Everything went as advertised following the directions as recommended. Used the wash with nuts and washers to help loosen some rust. Worked perfectly. Dried inside tank, then acid washed thank for about 30 minutes, rotating every 5-10 minutes. Rinsed tank 3-4 times with water and air dried with shop vac blowing air inside tank. Let set over night and acid wash again for 30 more minutes. Rinsed and air dried the same as before. Let tank sit overnight then poured sealer in tank rotating every 5 minutes to cover all areas including the top of tank. All looks like new and very pleased. After about 1-2 hours I noticed bubbles forming on the center rise in middle of tank. This why I rated 4 stars instead of 5. Tank is 99% better than before. Just hope it last for a while. I would highly recommend product. Easy to work just take your time.

I watched their video on line, ordered the products and they worked just as advertised. I thought I would have to find another tank for this bike, but mine is a good as new now.

I had previously used the Kreem gas tank sealer on my Honda motorcycle tank with very poor results - it had flaked-off and the tank had rusted more underneath the sealer than when I started the repair - very disappointed after following the instructions carefully and the process failed. The tank sat after the Kreem treatment without fuel and it deteriorated and flaked away while I was restoring my motorcycle.... So, after reading reviews and watching many YouTube motorcycle gas tank sealer instructional videos I chose the KBS Cycle Tank Sealer Kit. I also learned that I had to strip the Kreem Sealer and start fresh with the KBS Kit and followed the instructions explicitly. I saved the can and any unused sealer residue that was drained from the tank so as to have it for reference in the future to monitor how well it adheres and stands the test of time. One of the reasons the helped determine which sealer to use was the silver look of the dried product which resembles the original tank interior when it was new. I presently am using the tank with gasoline in it to test and adjust my reconditioned Honda motorcycle - it's not being operated on the road as yet - currently running engine and making adjustments & tuning procedures. Tanks shows no signs of problems with coating and it appears to be perfectly fine.

Works very nice and easy to apply, make the fuel tank better than new. Only thing I should add to fix is the shipping method, Maybe only happened to me but it took so long . Sorry to complain but overall it is worth the wait.

I tried using 110 octane leaded racing gas in my BSA. It caused the inside of the fiberglass tank to start to flake. The KBS system sealed the tank and I'm back to 93 octane pump gas. The instructions were easy to follow and I'm a happy biker again. Thanks KBS!!!

The cleaning and rust removal processes alone made the inside of the tank look brand new! I have a 2002 r6 and the tank has lots of crevices and hard to reach places and I am confident the sealer made its way into all of those places and sealed it up well. Hopefully the sealer will withstand the rest of time. Was hard to get decent pictures that do the product justice. Inside of the tank looks great!

I have full confidence in the motorcycle tank sealer kit. It takes some serious time and effort to complete all three steps, but you can tell by the instructions that this company really knows what they're doing. Probably some of the most thorough instructions I've received with anything, left me with no questions about how to do it. I'll definitely be using this again in the future.

1st time sealing a motorcycle tank. 96 Honda magna 750c is the tank I sealed. Patients definitely is needed. Hardest part was getting all the water out and waiting for it to dry. On day 3 of the 96 hour cure. My issue was slight rust so I figured better safe than sorry. I've been spreading the word.

Restoring old motorcycles can be a challenge trying to find parts. Some parts like a fuel tank are most always unavailable. This product has made my job much easier with the 3 step process. Even small holes or small cracks have been sealed and did not return. Top quality!

Do not waste your time on "home-brew" cleaners. The tank will rust again and then you need to take the tank, filters and carburetors apart again and clean out the rusty crud that the gas carried in. The cycle tank sealing kit will clean and coat the tank. No more rust. No more cleaning everything numerous times. I highly recommend.

I have used this system twice! I sealed my friend's gas tanks on his 83 Shadow and I used it on my Dad's 2007 Shadow. Both tanks on my friend's Shadow were leaking and very very rusty not now thanks to KBS. Then I sealed my Dad's tank cause it was rusty he forgot to fill it up at the end of the season a couple of years ago so it rusted up so I bought KBS and sealed it and never had another problem with it! I will definitely use this product whenever I have to seal a Tank!

Over many years I have paid for 3 tanks to be cleaned & sealed by others. I thought I would try myself on a 71 year old motorcycle tank. Starting with a weeping rusty mess, I went through the 3 step process and did not rush at any step process. The end result is outrageous, the materials provided were sufficient and worked wonderfully. Next time I need to redo a tank I will again do it myself and save the $$$'s. I was quoted $350.00 to have this tank done. Cost me less than $50.00 for the kit.

I've used this tank sealer on 2 Fat Bob Harley tanks. Both were over 25 yrs old. One was severely rusted with pin holes and had been sitting several years. The other wasn't as bad but had rust from sitting for 2 1/2 years outside, on the bike, with little gas in it. This sealer fixed them both and I managed to save the original paint on both of them. These tanks are getting harder to find and are getting expensive when you do find them. Thanks KBS, what a great product.

I have a 1979 Kawasaki 125 that because the tank was so bad the carb kept clogging. It was given to me because it didn’t run. I tried a couple of things before I got the - cleaner and coating. That worked so well that I repainted the tank and had decals made and it is the best looking thing on the bike!!!! The bike runs like new. THANKS!!
