Theoretical coverage at 2 mils DFT (which is a single coat) is 450 sq.ft. per gallon. Material losses during mixing and application will vary and must be taken into consideration. Expect up to 50% less coverage on bare wood, rough, or sandblasted surfaces.
For marine type applications, applications where the surface is consistently exposed to water, or applications where bare metal rust protection is key, at least three coats is recommended.
