Paint for non-painters

I never have luck with painting. I lack the patience required. However, I can follow directions and if you do that this stuff will last forever and look great too. I used it on my brake calipers.

2004 6.0L F350

Motor Coater made painting my engine easy. I followed the instructions from KBS and ended up with a great finish. Prepping the big 6.0 liter block took longer than painting it. I used a spray application with a harbor freight $10 HLPV gun for fantastic results. The key to getting the right consistency with the paint was to stir it very well before using it, especially the Rust Seal.

Excellent shine

I painted the calipers of 2 cars 84 Trans Am and 2008 EVO. Both have 4 wheels disc brakes. They look awesome.

Motor Coater

Used the pint kit to paint the transmission, transfer case and the engine block. It came out with a nice gloss to it and it covers really fast. Used a gravity feed gun with a 1.3 tip and it was a bit thick to spray as it wanted to spiderweb while spraying; I would recommend to thin it the minimum amount the instructions tell you if you are going to spray it. Used the Chevy Grey which I thought was too dark so I purchased a pint of the white also and did a 10 to 1 ratio to lighten it up just the way I wanted. It turned out great and although I have a whole pint of white left it was worth it.

Great Product

Went on great with a brush flowed out to look like it was sprayed on. Hopefully it will hold up in a salt water boat.

Here in Pgh Pa. They dump to much salt. So I called KBS. Please send me High heat Engine enamel. Their system is bomb

Excellent product

First time using the motor coat system very easy to apply and sprays easy lays flat dries with a slight sheen. I'm loving the way my block looks. Would definitely recommend

MG Maroon 385 with iodized anodized red paint parts

Wanted a different color from everyone else with the usual black and Chevy orange , so I wanted to match my Maroon color 92 Suburban! This is not for the impatient the motor coater kit takes time patients and effort to get at least decent results.

For my Rabbit

The kits the way to go. My engine looks great. Follow the instructions. Clean and treat then I brushed it on, and it smoothed right out. Had a couple of small runs I was able to fix with the thinner before it dried. I touched up some spots I missed after 7 days and it blended right in. I'm still using the cleaner and zinc primer other parts of the car. Little goes a long way.

Best kit out there

Used this kit on my '57 Thunderbird. Had the heads off the engine and painted the block inside the car. Everything went great. Prep is everything and the motor was very dirty and oily. Spent lots of time cleaning. Paint went on really nice and has shown no signs of lifting or cracking. This was over two years ago, and intake manifold has shown no burnt paint on the center runners, which y-blocks are bad about. Bought two more kits to pint the engines in my '56F100 and '56 Crown Victoria.

Great Product!

Used the engine coater to paint the oil pan on my 63 MAX WEDGE. Product performed as advertised. Great color match, self leveling and beautiful finish. Will use KBS again.

Great solution for multi-surface project

I used the Motor Coater kit to clean and re-paint the transmission from my 1972 Eldorado. I worked with steel, a cast iron, and aluminum. Coverage was great on all three surfaces and color matched the original pain exactly. Great product! Next up are the chassis parts in the engine compartment, and the engine itself.

Successful

The kit lived up to your description. Also I was very surprised that the aluminum color matches the color on my 1998 Moto Guzzi engine tranny and final drive. The KBS Kleen works as described and was easy to use. The paint when applied with a brush was easy to apply and the brush lines smoothed out as it dried. Thank you for a great product. F

Excellent product! I would recomend it to anyone!

I used the motor koater system to paint my AMC 343 V8. The caravelle blue came out beautiful with a gorgeous shine! And the prep products also work great and leave a prefect foundation for the color coat!
