Sealing a Plywood Floor with KBS MAXX
Whether it's a shop floor, shed, or trailer deck — the process is the same. Prep it right and the finish will outlast anything else you can put on wood.
Clean the Surface
Mix KBS Klean with hot water (1:25 ratio) and scrub the plywood to remove all dust, dirt, grease, and oil. Rinse and let dry completely.
Sand & Repair
Sand the surface smooth to remove splinters and high spots. Fill any cracks or damaged areas and let patches dry before coating.
Mix KBS MAXX
Mechanically mix the KBS MAXX Base with a drill-mounted mixer, then add the Activator. Thorough mixing is key to a durable, even finish.
Roll It On
Easily apply with a roller. KBS MAXX self-levels for a smooth, professional result with no brush marks. Start with a seal coat that soaks in and then apply a second coat (maybe third) for maximum protection.
