Preval Sprayer Kit - Convenient Paint Sprayer - Aerosol Paint Maker

Used a preval to spray KBS MAXX on my steel garage door gets a beating from the sun. Used two prevals to spray a quart of MAXX and the MAXX looked great. Simple application that can't be screwed up.

I thinned RustSeal 25% and sprayed it with this. It sputtered some in the very beginning bit once it got going, it worked great. I used one for the first coat and then used another for the second coat. Makes it really easy to get in to difficult spots.

For years I have been cautiously mixing small amounts of paint for touch ups, then came the problem of spending 15 minutes cleaning the gun for doing 2 minutes of painting. These little guys are great for touch ups. They clean up easily. I use multiples. I keep one jar for solvent. It makes cleaning the nozzle I used for painting a snap. I keep the mixed paint in another jar in case I need to do more touch ups later. Spray pattern is good but obviously not as good as a commercial gun. They are a bit pricey, but the time savings is well worth the cost.

The Pre-Val sprayer works well for RustSeal and normal auto paint. It's uneven drop size normally flows out and provides a decent coating not far removed from rattle-can spraying. I tried using this product with Diamond Finish clear, and got horrible results. Please don't combine those two products. Stick with RustSeal and normal paints in your Pre-Val.

I had some touch up to do and I bought this gun. I had never used it before, but it worked great. I actually sprayed a little over a pint with one gun.
