KBS Motor Coater Kit
Engine paint fails for three reasons: poor surface prep, the wrong paint for high temperatures, and improper application. The KBS Motor Coater Kit eliminates all three. It bundles a professional-grade cleaner, a rust remover and metal etch, a high-temperature engine enamel, and thinner for spray applications — everything needed to go from greasy bare metal to a showroom-quality finish.
Motor Coater Engine Enamel applies by brush, roller, or spray gun, self-levels to eliminate brush marks, and air-cures completely within seven days — no heat cycling required. With proper prep, the finish resists oil, gas, chemicals, and consistent temperatures up to 450°F.

Degrease with KBS Klean
Mix KBS Klean with hot water and scrub away grease, oil, and grime. This concentrated, water-based cleaner leaves zero residue — so nothing stands between your metal and the coating.
Etch & Rust-Treat with RustBlast
Apply RustBlast to dissolve remaining rust, neutralize corrosion, and chemically etch the metal surface. No need to chase every rust spot — RustBlast handles it and creates the ideal bonding profile for Motor Coater.
Coat with Motor Coater Engine Enamel
Apply Motor Coater by brush, roller, or spray gun. Its self-leveling formula eliminates brush marks and delivers a smooth, professional finish. One full coat covers completely — a second coat can be applied within 30 minutes or after 7 days.
