3 = Suitable for general applications
3* = Generally suitable but some testing should be done prior to use
NR = Not Recommended

PLEASE NOTE: This Tank Sealer Chemical Resistance Guide is a GUIDE ONLY to the general chemical resistance of Gold Standard Tank Sealer and cannot be used as a bible for all applications and conditions without prior testing. All tested substrates were prepped according to the Tank Sealer TDS the Tank Sealer was 5 mil film thickness. Average temperature when applied was 70F.

Common variables to be aware of include temperature; direction of the heat; any localized heating (hot spots); chemical concentration levels; different preparation techniques; chemical layering; differing substrates and varying film thickness of applied Gold Standard Tank Sealer.
